PSU Library
What It Is
The Library is a great place to learn, get help, work, and relax. In the PSU library, you’ll find great spaces, excellent resources, and, most importantly, people to help you succeed. We know that it isn't always easy to ask for help, but research shows that students who ask for help have a much higher chance of being successful.
Great Spaces
Whether you are looking for a place to study alone or work with a group, the library is the place to be. The fourth and fifth floors provide quiet study spaces. The second and third floors are great places to meet with friends and get work done. There are twenty-nine group-study rooms where you can work on projects with friends, and there’s a student practice presentation room where you can get ready for that all-important class presentation. The library has wireless access throughout the building and one of the most comfortable computing areas on campus, which is on the second floor.
Excellent Resources
The library’s resources are very popular, whether it’s the print collections like the Dark Horse Comics archive or online resources such as ARTstor, which is a database that includes nearly one million images of art, architecture, and more. One of the most popular services is the recently upgraded Summit regional catalog that offers over nine million titles that can be checked out.
Friendly People!
The library isn’t just about resources and computers; it’s a center for learning on campus. The library hosts a broad array of academic support services, including research assistance; writing help; academic advising; and tutoring in math, chemistry, statistics, and biology. The library is a great place to get the help you need.
How To Use It
